The Resurrection

“The gospel simply states that Jesus has risen from the dead and we can be saved….

The resurrection is the truth we must hold fast to in order to know Christ… this is our great hope…

The resurrection is not one of those things that we can agree to disagree on and be a Christian…

In order for us to rise after death, He must have risen, and we must believe…

Rolling the stone away was not to let Jesus out, but to let the women in… to be witnesses… more than 500 people saw the resurrected Jesus…

None of the immediate Disciples of Christ went back to the tomb to remember Jesus… He is the living God!

This truth is the center piece of all scripture… this truth should be the center piece of our lives…

There is nothing noble about believing a lie… if what Jesus did is untrue, we are to be pitied…

“The Christian faith in the resurrection rests not on philosophical theory, but on an historical fact.”

My friends “A dead redeemer could be no redeemer. Christ’s resurrection is the pledge of His Divine power” that one day we can join Him in Heaven…

But if this is not true, how heart breaking is that one could live their life for Christ and endure to the end only to have “all that goodness, faith, tenderness, (and) love” simply “dissolved to nothing.” That there is no reward for a life well lived and a life of faith in Christ…

“Don’t be lead astray by popular or interesting maxims…” Let us not base our ideas of God off of beautifully worded meme’s…

Paul is speaking of literal death and the glorious resurrection we have in Christ…

And when Jesus transforms our hearts… our lives will follow… “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
