No Insurance Policies

“God was blessing, but there was still no heir…

Lot had a choice between the promise and the immediate… It says, “lifted up his eyes…” he chose the immediate

Lot chose the convenient though he knew the reputation and evil of the land… Later Abraham wouldn’t even accept a gift from the kings of Sodom…

Isaac (Gen 21) was the rightful heir… though Abraham loved the others… he was the one God wanted to use to point to the Cross…

God’s promises and callings are better than our insurance policies and fall back plans… sometimes it’s God’s desire to eliminate these insurances policies from our lives so we can know the fullness of His promise, and not the second best…

Are you mourning insurance policies when you should be “lifting up your eyes” looking forward to the fullness of His promises…

If you’re always looking back to what you’ve lost you will never find joy in what you’ve been blessed with…

God may have, or is in the process of, cutting insurance policies out of our lives… are you angry with God because of these loses, when the only real loss that they would have been, would have been if they would have been fulfilled…

There are cheap alternatives that we wish for that cost us more in the long run…”

A powerful message from God that needs to be listened to over and over again. Our men’s group listened to it tonight and were deeply challenged.
