I Did It My Way

“And now, the end is near; And so I face the final curtain; My friend, I’ll say it clear; I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain.

I’ve lived a life that’s full; I’ve traveled each and every highway; But more, much more than this; I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few; But then again, too few to mention; I did what I had to do; And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course; Each careful step along the byway; And more, much more than this; I did it my way…” -F.S.

David was departing from Spirit lead leadership and ruling as pagan kings led… This exposed a weakness in David’s heart…

When God allows us to be tempted it is to refine us, steel us, to greater truth and goodness… When Satan tempts us, it’s to ruin us…

When we fall, we learn the secret hidden things that are ruining our soul, and if dealt with rightly will lead us to repentance and greater godliness…

True repentance doesn’t look for excuses, or to blame others…”
