“The Holy Spirit is powerful, but He’s more than a power…

His lordship needs to be exercised in our everyday life…

“We don’t so much get Him as He, The Holy Spirit, gets us.”

The Bible tells us of the personality and make-up of the Holy Spirit:
• Intellect (His thoughts)
• Will (His Desires)
• Actions (His Works)
• and Feelings…

Just as the Father feels, and the Son feels, so the Holy Spirit feels…

Walking in a way that honors the one that gave you the gift of God’s grace…

We need to treat each other in the same way Christ has treated us…

God uses people and ministries to build us up that we can go and minister to others…

We live in a spiritually dangerous world and if we do not mature, we leave ourselves open to the destructive influences of Satan…

“Truth in love” not arrogance or pride… So much damage is done, not in the content of our message, but in the tone of how we say it, and the motive, to simply be right…

God does not desire that we live by the patterns and desires of this world… God has far better in store for us…

In putting on the new self our lives are a clearer reflection of the image of God…

Though His grace is sufficient; our sin is no small thing to God… it breaks His heart… This is not a metaphor the Holy Spirit’s heart is broken with our sins…

This breaks His heart because He desires for us to walk in unity with Jesus and the Father… The very heart of The Holy Spirit is to exalt Jesus Christ in this world… our sin does not do that… sin strains and breaks our nearness to God…

The Holy Spirit is grieved, but He doesn’t sit and camp in His grief… He restores …

The Holy Spirit desires Lordship in our lives… not because He’s an authoritarian, but because He loves us and knows our natural fleshly behavior would drive us off cliffs… and in His love He’s constantly desiring to pull us off the edge, and into His blessing and His protection and His care…

Let us live worthy of the calling … this is not done by our own efforts, but it’s a work of grace, The Holy Spirit, and allowing God to minister to you through others…”
