God’s not just concerned with your spirit and soul, but your body as well… He created it and desires it whole…
Not all sickness is a result of personal sin, and likewise some sickness is a result of personal sin…
In the life and sacrifice of Jesus, in His work on the cross, and the resurrection, we find freedom and restoration…
The “atonement” – the covering for our sins… the work of the cross has effected more than just our spiritual need for salvation… for sickness God provides healing…
God heals for two reasons; because He loves us, and in healing His power and glory are revealed and His word is confirmed…
Healing was no small part of His ministry… it was an important witness unto who He was…
It’s God’s desire that the ministry of healing would be present with us…
So what can we do while we’re waiting on God to heal us:
• Reaffirm you’re relationship with God (make sure there are no hindrances that would make it hard to hear His voice…)…
• Fill your life with the Word, Worship and Prayer, not with the idea of ‘earning it,’ but simply that you’re attune to the Holy Spirit within your life…
• Ask other believers to be in prayer with you and have church leadership pray with you…
Divine healing, the medical community, and common sense wisdom are not at odds, and there is not a demon under every rock…”
