Before there were Kings: Revival

“The big moments and all the small moment that leads up to the big moment are all equally important…

Revival was a long time coming, it wasn’t just one moment, but the cumulative effect of a lot of moments that reached a critical mass, and the flood gates opened…

Samuel had to undo a lot of poor leadership…

Every great move of God has a backstory, and the backstory, though not as exciting, is essential to the story that grabs the headlines…

We see in Samuel a revival that started even before that twenty years, but it began in the heart of Hannah as she interceded for a child, and cared for His gift to her and the nation of Israel…

She chose to look past the frailty of man, on to the mercy, grace, power and faithfulness of God… Samuel would have to do the same thing with Eli…

Revival was breaking out the enemy would come against them and try to force them back into defeat… does this sound familiar… but not on Samuel’s watch…

Your care and example for others could very well lay the foundation for a personal revival… or the revival of a community… or the revival of a nation…

God, through people, poured into one man, and through that one man God revived a nation… when God through you pours into people you never can tell what God would do…

It takes a critical mass before revival hits with its full force… keep making piles…

Keep doing the unseen things…

There will be ebbs and flows spiritually within communities and churches… No one lives life on the mountain top (there are valleys)… we cannot control that, but we can choose how we respond to God… keep making piles for Him to ignite…”
