Be Still: and Cry Out

“Our lives are the proof of His goodness… we continually experience His streams of mercy… His daily loving-kindness is immeasurable…

Psalm 107:32 Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders… It is not enough to privately praise Him, but God calls us to publicly praise Him…

A life filled with His blessings should also be filled with His praise…

Our gratitude toward God should be expressed in song, in conduct, in willing obedience, and in service toward God…

The heart of God in hardship that it would drive us back to the covering… God would much rather you know hardship in this short life than an eternity of pain and suffering… God’s providence isn’t only seen in blessing but in chastening…

There is a reason when we’re running from God we avoid believers, and the word of God… this is the nature of sin, to isolate us from what truly nourishes our souls…

Whatever the source of our hardship God is calling us to cry out to Him!

Psalm 107:6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.

Jesus will make the storm calm and whisper and muzzle the mouth of the enemy!

Psalm 107:42 The upright see it and are glad, and all wickedness shuts its mouth.

The only right response to His steadfast love: is a humble heart that depends upon Him… that cries out to Him…”

God’s goodness deserves our praise… “Think how varied, how constant, how all undeserved, how costly, is the goodness of God to men, and how it follows them continually all the days of their life here, and then goes with them into the eternal life.”

“This world is ordered according to God’s will; and it keeps the order when man’s will is in harmony with God’s will.”

We don’t seek rest from work but worry. Work and activity are good for us, it’s worry that truly taxes us… only when we allow Him to calm the storms, and check out will to give His control do we truly know rest… We must not only “know” about Him, but “experience” Him and His work…
